Recently I met Alex from Germany, he was inspired by the injection machine and used the outline to build is own machine. He already added some improvements, used a CNC milled mould and even gave a workshop with his machine.

The goal of this project is to develop machines that can recycle plastic and share them. With the blueprints online people all over the world can start building machines. So it makes me very happy to see other people building machines to recycle plastic as well.

Read his story below to find more information about his wonderful project and check out his machine!

“Using plastic bottles is one of the biggest threats to environment and life itself .”

“My project’s objective is to reduce the amount of single-use plastic waste and promote a sustainable consumption. For this purpose I created a reusable bottle that is made entirely from recycled materials. Recycling materials saves resources and protects our environment.”

Alex gives workshops with his machine to show and inspire people to re-use plastic. He is located in Germany, if you would like to invite him or just get in touch, send him a mail! (it’s a nice guy)
