Everyone is excited about recycling plastic.
This article is part of Precious Plastic, a One Army project tackling the plastic waste problem. You can learn more
here
.

Little over a year ago we began to work on our first Precious Plastic Pilot in collaboration with the UN-Habitat and the local government in Kisii, Kenya. We visited the site twice, brought our knowledge and experience working with plastic recycling to locals and tried to tackle the environmental crises caused by plastic while offering new job opportunities.

We made a little video to show you how things went in Kenya alongside a new page on our website with more detailed info.

The project is now over. Sorry, no more visits 🙃

Next steps, we’re inviting Alicia & Manduku (most dedicated folks from the local team) in Eindhoven to help us develop Precious Plastic Version 4. Great opportunity to see Europe and learn more recycling tricks to bring back to Kenya and push local plastic recycling.

Asante Sana 🇰🇪 🖐
