Precious Plastic meets Yunus Muhammad

Sometimes you meet your heroes, and work with them 👹⁣

While in Bangladesh I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Professor Yunus Muhammad and have a couple of exchanges on the plastic problem.⁣

Yunnus Mohammed is a Nobel Peace Prize, in the 70s he started lending money to poor people to help them get out of poverty. Commonly called micro financing this approach is used across the world nowadays.

With Precious Plastic we're in Bangladesh settings up a Precious Plastic workspace to recycle plastic in collaboration with Grameen Telecom to find a scalable solution to the plastic waste problem in the region.⁣
